Beginning Monday, September 26, Smencils will be sold to benefit the fifth grade end-of-year trip.
Bus #152 will not be running the EVENING of Wednesday, September 21 through Friday, September 23, 2022z.
On Wednesday evening Jessica Bailey, bus 164, will take her entire run, along with Little Harts, Manns Knob and Short Bend. Students will be arriving later than normal.
Also, on Wednesday, LJ, bus 2094, will be taking SAND CREEK, Riverbend, Frye Ridge, 14 mile creek road, and Rt 10.
Beginning Thursday morning and continuing to Friday evening, September 22, 2022, Bus 164 will pick up students on her regular run along with Little Harts, Manns Knob and Short Bend. The bus may be up to 10 minutes late.
Also, for Thursday and Friday, bus 2094, will be picking up and taking home SAND CREEK, Riverbend, Frye Ridge, 14 mile creek road, and Rt 10.
These changes will begin on Wednesday AFTERNOON and end on FRIDAY.
Christmas Help applications went home last week. All applications are due this Friday, September 16th.

Lincoln County Schools is conducting the first active threat drill of the year tomorrow, September 9th at approximately 9:30 a.m. All eight schools in the county are going to be a part of the drill. We have worked with all of our principals to ensure the active threat drills are designed in a way that enhances our overall preparedness. These drills are important for school safety, and Lincoln County Schools is committed to the safety of all students and staff.
This is an important message from Lincoln County Schools regarding busses:
Hamlin and LCHS students:
Bus 153 will not be running on Thursday morning, September 8th. Bus 2131 will pick up students on Big Laurel and Lower Big Creek.
Bus 160 will pick up students on Fez, main Upper Mud River Road and Cherry Street. Please be patient as the times will vary. Bus 153 is running on Thursday afternoon.
Midway, Duval, and LCHS students:
Bus 225 will not be running on Thursday, September 8th, or Friday, September 9th. In the mornings, students who ride Bus 225 on Garrett's Bend and Sumerco Mountain will be picked up by Bus 223. Bus 223 will leave Midway at approximately 7:20 AM to begin this route.
In the morning, Bus 1610 will pick up students on Cobbs Creek. In the afternoons, Bus 191 will transport students home that live on Rt 3. Bus 2115 will transport students that transfer to Bus 223 at the Alum Creek Fire station.

Lincoln County Schools will be closed on Friday January 7, 2022. Code 3: Total System Shut Down
Since tomorrow is a total system shut down, students will not need to complete any of the packets that were sent home.
Due to the winter storm warning associated with our area, Lincoln County Schools will release students three hours early today Thursday, January 6, 2022. Parents and guardians, plan for school buses to arrive at their evening stops approximately three hours earlier than regularly scheduled time. Thank you.
